Uploaded by the author:  BIKERACE.EXE is a menu driven data processor for the 2900 mile, two week, non-stop, ultra marathon transcontinental bicycle race ridden each year since 1982 from California to the Atlantic Coast.  It includes race data through 1997.  The program could be used for any endurance event including triathlons for which time data at checkpoints during the race are available.

Even though this is an MS-DOS based program, it will work with Windows 3.1 and/or Windows 95.

To install this application on a hard drive for execution from either DOS or Windows, unzip the files to an empty directory on the hard drive.  DOS users: If your PATH statement in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT does not include C:\DOS, either add that directory or copy C:\DOS\ATTRIB.EXE to the directory which contains the unzipped files.

To run, enter BIKERACE.EXE.  Once BIKERACE is loaded and has located the ATTRIB.EXE file (part of the DOS or WINDOWS operating system in your computer), the application will ask you what year's race data you want to process.  Operation is from displayed menus with active keys indicated.  Pointing device not required.
